And if you need a little more love, creativity and community in your life, please see below for some updates to my schedule this year so far.
10 WEEK ONLINE CLASS STARTS APRIL 13TH 6 PM
You can workshop up to 10 double spaced pages a week and then have them discussed on Zoom in a warm, nurturing atmosphere that also provides strong craft support.
$850 before March 1st. Then the price goes up!

THORN NECKLACE X WINE, WOMEN AND WEED RETREAT WITH HANNAH EKO/LIT CLUB ON APRIL 11th IN CULVER CITY 12-6 pm
Women, Writing, Weed & Wine is a deeply intimate writing retreat For this session, we honor the creative freedom of The Thorn Necklace,Los Angeles, and the amazing Francesca Lia Block. Founded by writer and cannabis advocate Hannah Eko, this is a generously curated oasis for our stressful times: women-owned weed and wine in the room, sober options flowing, small talk left at the door. We gather to sit inside the tender, strange, radiant heart of writing our truth. Open to 13 women and nonbinary people, whether you write, ache to write, create in the margins, or simply love women writers. All levels welcome, from first-draft dreamers to dog-eared veterans.

11:00-11:30 introductions
11:30- 12:00 special guest Tracey Simmons
Tracey has an MFA in Creative Writing, from Antioch University LA. Her writing has been published in Aunt Chloe: A Journal of Artful Candor, Wussy Magazine, Reclamation Magazine, Lit Angels, and for Q Bee App. She leads writing groups and soundbaths at mental health wellness and drug/alcohol treatment centers. She is currently finishing her debut novel, Specimen, under her pen name Tracey K. Zakai.
