LA Presents: TAROT OF ROSES by Alice Carrier
GOOD QUESTIONS
Asking good questions is a matter of habit, and habits are assembled through practice. A morning ritual that includes tarot can provide a way to approach issues that arise throughout the day with a sense of curiosity and play. Coupled with meditation practice, self inquiry in this fashion can offer a guidepost that may truly surprise the reader.
Daily ritual is most effective, and mornings are a great place to put a non-negotiable routine. A short moment to collect your thoughts, along with an opportunity to write and reflect is enough to build a small measure of self trust and reliability.
There are as many ways to read tarot as there are to heal a tattoo. Everyone has their own correct way. Reading tarot alone and with others for over 2 decades, I’ve developed a style of my own that isn’t far from what I’ve been taught, yet remains unique to me. Take what you like, leave what you don’t, and add what works for you. Tarot began its life as a card game, and continues to be played that way around the world. The emergence of divination from gaming seems to be the natural consequence of opportunities for winning and losing.
